If you’ve had unprotected sex or your contraception has failed you.

For example:

  • Your condom burst
  • You forgot to take your pill

When you can take it.

Emergency pills – up to 72 hours (3 days) later, but the sooner the better.

IUD – up to 120 hours (5 days) later.
