How can I tell if I’ve got Chlamydia?

Most people that have Chlamydia do not even know they have it because they have no symptoms. But if you have symptoms they might include:

In Women

  • A vaginal discharge that is different or heavier than usual
  • Pelvic or abdominal pain
  • Pain during sex
  • Pain when urinating
  • Urinating more often than usual
  • Bleeding in between periods
  • Bleeding after sex

In Men

  • Irritation at the tip of the penis
  • Pain or swelling of testicles
  • Pain when urinating

Because most people do not know that they have Chlamydia, taking a test is the only way to know for sure.
